"Beware of Dog"
I took this cute pic of Daisy this weekend. She is a great guard dog!! Anyone who tries to get past her is going to lose a few toes!

Want to be my friend?
Lucky for me, Dan had a moment of weakness today and told me I could finally get the puppy I had been eyeing for weeks!!!! Fearing he would change his mind, I recruited Susan to drive to Jasper, IN with me at 6pm after work to pick her up. Our puppy was the last (and the smallest) of a litter of ten miniature labradoodles. Her dad is a chocolate labradoodle and her mom is a miniature poodle. She came from Hill Top Farms. To see more of their available puppies click here. She is 10 weeks old and weighs just 2 pounds. She has such a cute little personality. We don't have a name for her yet so we would like to hear any suggestions you might have!!! I will post her big name "reveal" later this week. Sorry, the pictures are a little blurry. Her color makes her hard to photograph. As cute as the pics are, they don't do her any justice :)

Congratulations Matt & Heidi!!!!
Congrats to Matt and Heidi on baby Owen. He is the cutest thing ever!! Here are some pictures of the Maxfield family and a couple of Owen with his future babysitters (hint, Heidi, HINT!). Actually, I'm sure we are in a long line with lots of other hopeful babysitters! We are so happy that mom, dad and baby are happy and healthy :)

Uppercase Living!
So waaay back when (January'ish), Heidi introduced me to Uppercase Living and I ordered a few things. This is one of the expressions I ordered and we finally put it above the doorway to our sun room today. I can't say I helped much, but I like to think of myself more as the "supervisor" type. I LOVE it! If you want to learn more about this click here. Now if we can just unpack the rest of our boxes from our move in May 06'.......

Operation "Green Thumb"
Before and After pictures! This past weekend I completed one of my home projects known as "operation green thumb." Many of you know that I was born with black thumbs of death, but hey a girl can try! We had two overgrown bushes, both with thorns, that needed to go! Luckly for me, Dan usually humors my "home improvement" ideas. It took us over 2 stinky, sweaty and mostly unpleasant hours to dig up the old bushes. Ironically, I replaced them with smaller bushes. Hopefully they will grow fast and catch up to other plants or we will have three more bushes to pull out next spring!
