Dan got exciting news today from the Admission Committee of the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics. He was recommended for admission to the Master of Science program for 2008-2009. I wonder if he will give us a repeat performance of his previously posted Giants win "happy dance."

I hope this has made all math nerds out in blog world and those who love Dan happy :) In honor of Dan, I will perform the hardest math calculation I know. 2+2=4 TA DA! Just kidding. I am so proud of Dan!

Go Giants!!!

The Giants are going to the superbowl!! Our party won't be cancelled afterall!! People out in blog world, I can't tell you what I had to listen to during this play off game. At one point I thought Dan would either have a stroke or start crying. Believe me, a girl can't take a nap when the Giants are playing. Here is a video depicting the Dan drama in the final seconds. Had the Giants lost, I would NOT be able to post Dan's reaction. Enjoy.

We came home last week to find that our previously perfect puppy had chewed on the molding as well as the leg of one of our new dinning room chairs. I have to admit it was bound to happen. She has one tooth that has been bothering her, we ran out of raw hide bones, and we were leaving her home alone way too much. As punishment her parole was revoked and she is now doing "hard time" back in her kennel during work hours. I'm trying to give her more play time to get some of that destructive energy out. Dan and I took Daisy to check out the city park behind our house. I was surprised to see how nice it was. It has a couple of nice trails and a big field in the middle. We didn't spend too much time there today because it was only about 20 degrees! I've posted some evidence that led to the dog's conviction.

New Maddy Pics!

Here are some new Maddy, Kiley and Isabelle pics. Thanks to photographer Joe Hiley (Maddy's grandpa). Maddy already looks like she has grown since we saw her at Christmas and Isabelle looks like an angel....when sleeping. Also pictured with baby is my little sister and new mom, Kiley. Isn't she one hot momma!

Home for the Holidays

What a great Christmas vacation we had with our families! Not only did we get to see our loved ones, we also saw a "winter wonderland!" I had a shot at riding in the snow plow with Dan's dad Doug, but missed out. Next year is my year! We also got to snuggle with our nieces Isabelle and baby Maddy. We caught up with friends we haven't seen in a while and had some great R&R. Santa Dan gave me Dance Dance Revolution for Christmas. Sadly, he is a lot better than I am. I'm not exaggerating. I have witnesses. I gave Dan a beer making kit which he has already started prepping for. Overall, it was wonderful as always. We are always sad to leave. We are happy to say that Daisy slept the entire 12 hours home.
