Emma Graduates and starts Kindergarten!

Emma Grace Riggs, 4 yr and 11 months

The Leadership Award!  "One of the first to come up with an idea or plan that all the children follow"

Emma wants to be a "mommy" when she grows up.  However, right before her ceremony she told the entire class she did not want to be a mommy because she didn't to "pee out" her babies or have them "cut out of her belly."  To all those parents, You are welcome :)

And now, here we have our Kindergartener!  I won't lie. This was a difficult day for me.  She was SO brave According to her dad she just jumped out of the car in the carpool lane and walked inside.

Leaving for her big day (where did the time go?)

I am back!

It's been a long time away from blogging.  Time to catch you up.  I have slacked on the blogging, but not on the picture takings so hold onto your pants and enjoy the ride.

So in the last 4 months the Riggs' family moved from Louisville, KY (sniff) to Dothan, AL (where?), Krista and Dan started new jobs, the girls started a new school, and we have started to settle down in our new little town.  We have enjoyed visits from Susan and Nanny Pam & Bubba Mike.

My new school:  The Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine http://www.acomedu.org/

She's not that impressed (except with the vending machines.  She love the vending machines)
All done! (This was just a frame when I interviewed)
 Faculty and Staff
 Aerial view
 First official badge

5 years after graduating I finally had this gem framed
My office (It's pretty bare right now)
The Simulation Lab (It's never to early to learn about the birds and the bees)
Our new home (The pool is updated now.  We were one of the first people to move in)
I was alone for a few weeks while Dan was taking care of closing on our house.  This is one of nightly walks.  Let me tell you, I miss a back yard for the dog.  I would literally beg Dan to come back every single night.
Grocery shopping with these two was torture an adventure
This little angel, is an angel no more.
She is crawling, and taking steps, and getting into all kinds of trouble

So far she has tried to eat dog food and a penny.  She loves dog food.
She has her own ideas about bed time
Rarely stops moving long enough to fall asleep
more updates to come....

In Loving Memory

Someday I will be able to describe my brother,
Someday I will be able to tell the world how great he was,
Someday I will talk about how much I miss him,
Someday, but not today.
