Girls Trip Part 5: The Finale

Rockin' the rocking horse at Papa's (note the jockey goggles)
Two of the sweetest kids ever, Ethan and Mary
(and also a very sweet but very intimidating Pittbull, snuffy)
Snuffy loves spaghetti
Emma and her Papa (my dad)
It was a busy trip but we did manage to stop and smell the flowers
(even if it meant plucking the last surviving flower out of Nanny's garden)
Nanny, Emma and the elusive fish
Jumping in the leaves!
Born to Ride
Proudly sitting on Bubba's motorcycle
Emma and her Bubba (Dan's Dad)
A very greedy chipmunk in Nanny's bird feeder
His cheeks were swollen with bird food so it was
a little difficult to squeeze out
We managed to meet up with one of my oldest friends, her
mom and her daughter Sophia
100 pictures and not one with both of them looking at the camera
***whoops, that wasn't a squirrel it was a chipmunk!

Girls Trip Part 4: Emma and Oscar

These pictures are from my sister's in-law's home? (hmmm...is that grammatically correct? oh well). They have a goat named Oscar that Emma fell instantly in love with (even though she is still terrified of cats and most dogs). They also have chickens, but she wasn't as impressed with them. Basically, it was the closest thing to a petting zoo that she has even seen.

One of the four wheelers Emma fell in love with
(not a big fan once they were turned on..)
speed racer
Let me introduce you to Oscar...
before Oscar....(my trick is to say "Emma show me your
teeth") Holy Cow it works!
"Oh, Oscar is nice and sweet..."
"Oscar thinks my hair is hay.."
"back off Oscar.."
"leave me alone Oscar.."

Girls Trip Part 2: Home Sweet Home

At the ripe old age of 15 I started my first job (at my uncle's store)
He sold penny candy, there were a lot of kids with dollars...it was hell
There was a tv in the back and I ate tons of penny candy :)
My elementary school complete with K-4 classes, a gym, and nurses office :)
My niece Isabelle holding a "wild" apple
Views from around my neck of the woods

There is something about a plowed corn field in the fall....

A bee hive we found on our country drive

Cows (did I mention I grew up on my grampa's Dairy farm?)

I may have moved to a "city" but I'm still a country girl at heart

One must wear boots like these....and ride parked
all terrain vehicles :)

What Time is It?

One of my favorite things to do is ask Emma,"what time is it?" And sometimes we will ask each other and she will jump in with an answer. Here are some of her answers from yesterday.

"Ten-forty"
"ten to nine"
"$9.99"
"5 more minutes"

and my personal favorite
"time to party"
