Lake Cumberland

Last weekend I attended a scientific meeting at Lake Cumberland State Park. We rented a little cabin and Dan and Emma came along for some fun family time. Our friend and Emma's BFF "Suzie" came down on Sunday to spoil Emma ;) The lake is beautiful. It's a boating lake, not so much a swim lake so we didn't spend any time there. Emma had a blast on the playground and the indoor pool. We visited a riding stable, so Emma could see a "hoosie" up close and personal. Turns out it was too personal and Emma was too scared to touch one. It was a little boring at times, but I think being bored is healthy thing. It's been a long time since any of us have felt bored.
